Why not change the way you see the World?

worldwide

This is a world-wide organisation with over 350 clubs in 60 countries around the globe. Each year around 6,000 members criss-cross the world to meet each other. It's non-religious, non-political and not for profit. It's simply for friendship.

The Greater Manchester club has been active for over 25 years and in that time we've travelled to and hosted people from many different countries including: Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Russia, Slovakia, South Africa, Sweden, Ukraine and the USA.

It's a different way to meet people and learn about cultures and lifestyles. The main feature of this style of travel is home-stays rather than hotel accommodation. You'll be more than just a tourist and bring back more than just a souvenir. Your host can be your guide and give you the best advice on what to see and do, where to eat and drink and how to avoid the tourist traps.

We travel in small groups, which is great for those who'd otherwise be travelling on their own. We usually hosts visitors twice each year and when we travel, we stay for two weeks visiting two clubs. We often tag on a few optional extra days for stopovers or sightseeing.

multiYou'll make friends at home, you'll make friends abroad. Even if you're not much of a traveller we can bring the people of the world to your town and you can help them learn about your country and your culture.

If you're interested in learning a foreign language then there's no better way than to immerse yourself by spending time with the people who speak it everyday.

It is said that travel broadens the mind. As you travel, meet people and spend time in their homes, you'll change the way you see the world.
